Email vs Physical Mail

During class on Monday we broke down what all goes into physical mail and email. As soon as Mr Fry started talking we began so see how very very similar the to types really are. They are both complicated. Email more complicated that I expected.

I've thought a lot about email vs physical over the past few months. For the last year I've been able to talk to my best friend everyday using email. It's easy to have a very nice conversation quite quickly as long as they are online or checking it often. At the beginning of summer though he went away to camp to work for the summer and had very little web access. So we began to write letters. He's not very good at it but it was always exciting checking the mail and finding a letter. I must admit I got very impatient sometimes waiting for the letter to come. It always seemed like forever but I never get as excited for an email as I do for a letter.

Letters are more personal to me. You have to make the effort to get everything together and sit down and write it. I use email more often just to keep in touch but I'd much rather get a letter in the mail.
